Search forms send the name, phone number, or address you enter to the third-party provider that supplies the results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. When you contact us, we receive the details you choose to send and use them solely to answer your message.

Our hosting systems create ordinary server logs that may include an IP address, browser type, visited pages, and timestamps. We review this information in aggregate to maintain the site and learn which resources visitors use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, when applicable, advertising measurement.
How We Use Data
The limited data described above helps us operate Canton People Search, resolve technical faults, measure traffic, and improve content. We neither sell visitor lists nor create profiles of individual users.
Privacy on Linked Services
Canton People Search links to City of Canton and Cherokee County portals, Georgia records offices, library collections, and third-party search tools. Those services apply their own privacy policies to information submitted there. Our policy does not govern their handling of data. Even so, we can check our contact mailbox and server logs for the small amount of information we may hold and remove what we find. Submit a request through the Contact page. Public records maintained by the City of Canton, Cherokee County, or Georgia agencies remain outside our control, so requests concerning those records must go to the responsible custodian. Georgia's Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. ยงยง50-18-70 through 50-18-77, governs access to agency records but is not a general consumer deletion statute.
